Belly Flab, Arm Flab and Thigh Flab: How Do I Get Rid of the Flab?

Probably the one goal when it comes to losing weight is to get rid of the belly flab, arm flab and thigh flab. Yuck that stuff seems to hang on forever I hate it. Without a doubt we should exercise those specific areas and try to tighten up the muscles and dump the flab. Unfortunately that is easier said than done. Let me give you a little advice on how to get rid of it.

First it takes more than simply exercising the specific areas of flab. Spot reducing is sort of like spitting in the wind. The body cannot be coerced into losing fat in a particular area by exercising the muscles under or over that area. Instead you need to focus on losing body fat and gaining a little muscle.

Secondly, this means that you need to change your eating habits to fit your desire of losing body fat and flab. You need to eat more often by eating smaller portions throughout the day which will boost your metabolism and help you to burn more calories. By all means make sure you drink more water to reduce your hunger pangs. And of course eating fewer calories will help you to lose weight and the hangy yucky stuff. Just make sure you get a good balance between your carbs, protein and fat (yes, some fat is good and necessary).

Finally, make sure you deal with a good exercise plan. Once you have reduced your calories it is time to begin to get some exercise. A good diet plan will help you to lose the weight you want to lose but without proper exercise you will reach a plateau. A good exercise program is a must for a proper lifestyle change for a healthy you. You can get rid of the belly flab, arm flab and thigh flab and tighten up the backsides as well but it is all up to you.
